Living Water

In his celebrated conversation with the woman at the well (John 4: 7-26), Jesus talks about the new water he wants to give us: "Living Water", he calls it. The water I shall give will become in you a spring of water welling up to eternal life," (John 4:14) .

As we engage in the Abundance Prayer the "Living Water" of God's love and peace arises in our hearts and flows out to the world and to the particular people and inspirations we pray for. The flow of this love first heals oneself ant then those we pray for. And so we learn through the practice of the Abundance Prayer that it is in giving that we receive.
